4 Delicious Fruit Beverage Recipes - Perfect for Summer!

With Spring right around the corner and Summer soon to follow I love drinking various cold beverages so I thought I would post a few recipes today of beverages my family likes for me to make during the warmer months of the year. When we host family get-togethers and backyard barbecues, I am always whipping up a few of these for our party guests to enjoy.

Berry Frost Recipe
(makes 4 servings)

1 (14 oz.) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 (8 ounce) carton plain yogurt
6 oz. frozen fruit juice concentrate (any of the berry flavors)
2-3 c. ice cubes

In blender container, combine sweetened condensed milk, yogurt and fruit juice concentrate. Cover and blend until smooth. With blender running add in ice cubes, one at a time, blending until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses.

Watermelon Punch Recipe

6 cups watermelon juice
2 cups pineapple juice
1 (12 oz) can frozen raspberry flavored juice
1 (6 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1/4 cups lemon juice

In a large bowl, blend all of the above ingredients. Chill for 2 hours. Makes 14 (3/4 cup) servings. For party atmosphere serve inside a hollowed out watermelon!

Fruit Flavored Float Recipe

1 cup granulated sugar
1 envelope unsweetened lemon-lime or cherry flavored soft drink mix
2 cups milk
1 qt. vanilla ice cream
1 (28 ounce) bottle carbonated water, chilled

Combine sugar and fruit flavored soft drink mix. Add milk; stir to dissolve sugar. Pour mixtured into 8 tall glasses. Spoon about 1/2 c. of ice cream into each glass. Slowly pour in the chilled carbonated water to fill each glass. Stir gently to mix. (or mix and serve in a large punch bowl, if desired). Makes about 8 (8 ounce) servings.

Oooh these sound like the perfect drinks for lounging on the deck during a hot summer night!

I have stupid question though ...
the watermellon juice. You can't just buy watermellon juice, can you? If so, I've just never taken notice, lol.

If not, then I assume you just get the juice from a watermellon.
