Perfect Pasta Pesto Salad Recipe

My husband absolutely loves this pesto pasta salad recipe! You will need to refrigerate it for at least 1 hour...however, I like to refrigerate mine for 4-6 hours before serving it to allow all of the flavors to infuse into the pasta which makes it even better! A great little recipe to whip up and take to barbecue picnics during the warm summertime months.

Perfect Pasta Pesto Salad Recipe

8 oz. of rotini pasta (can use colored pasta if desired)
3 small green bell peppers, chopped
1 pt. cherry tomatoes
6 oz. Mozzarella Cheese, cut into chunks
1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
1 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh basil, slivered

Cook pasta according to directions, drain and place in large bowl. Toss in the rest of the ingredients. Prepare the Italian Dressing using the recipe below.

Dressing:

7 Seasons Italian Dressing Packet, fully prepared (tm)

Pour over the above mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
