Delicious Swedish Meatballs Recipe

Swedish Meatballs Recipe

Swedish Meatballs are a great to make & serve at a home party or family gathering! They are a great appetizer that most people enjoy.

2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 envelope brown gravy mix
6 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 can beef broth
1/2 c. sour cream

Combine beef, salt, nutmeg, milk, egg, cream cheese, onion soup mix and bread crumbs in a large bowl. Mix the mixture using your hands and roll into 1 inch balls. (makes about 35 balls). Place on foil-lined jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a large frying pan, heat bouillon. Add meatballs; cover and simmer for approximately 20 minutes. Stir in gray mix to thicken. Remove frying pan from heat and stir in the sour cream. Serve over hot noodles or rice.
