White Chocolate Amaretto Cheese Ball Recipe

My daughter needed something to take into work for an office party yesterday. She wanted to make a cheese ball but in an Egg Shape to honor the upcoming Spring Easter Holiday and their party theme at work was a Spring Theme so we made the following recipe. Tupperware no longer makes the dessert blend but you can find similar ones at a local gourmet cook shop that you can use.

White Chocolate Amaretto Cheese Ball Recipe

1 pkg. Tuppperware White Choc. Amaretto Dessert Blend Mix
1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
4 Tbsp. butter, softened
1/4 cup Oreo (tm) Cookie Crumbs

Using the Tupperware Quick Chef or your food processor, grind up Oreo (tm) Cookies, enough to make a 1/4 cup of cookie crumbs and set aside. Blend contents of White Chocolate Amaretto Dessert Blend Mix with softened cream cheese and softened butter.

Cover, chill and form into a ball. Roll in dark chocolate curls, graham cracker or chocolate wafer cookie crumbs. We made ours into an egg shape (to honor the upcoming Easter Holiday) and rolled it into Oreo (tm) Cookie Crumbs. We then chilled it for an additional 1 hour.

As you can see...this recipe is really easy to prepare and whips up pretty quickly. We like to make this around the holidays when we are doing a lot of entertaining here in our home. It is also great to make and take to a home where you want to bring along a little something for everyone to enjoy around the holidays.
