Shrimp and Crab Meat Dip Recipe

My husband Sam makes this delicious shrimp and crab meat dip for every party or family event that we host. It's really easy to make and everyone requests it when we are hosting a party here in our home. I think you will enjoy it too!

Shrimp and Crab Meat Dip Recipe

1 (8 ounce) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) container of sour cream
2 cans of tiny shrimp
1 can white crab meat
1 envelope Ranch dressing mix
1 bottle of cocktail sauce

Mix cream cheese and sour cream together in a large bowl. Add in the Ranch dressing mix, stir until blended. Place bowl in freezer for 10 minutes. Remove from freezer and spread mixture into a serving dish (we use a rectangular glass baking dish). Pour cocktail sauce evenly over mixture. Drain crabmeat and shrimp, mix them together in a small bowl. Spread the seafood mixture over the cocktail sauce. Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving. We like to serve our dip with Tostitos or Taco Chips.

Oh my this dip sounds soooo good. I could cut down some of the calories and use light cream cheese and sour cream. I'm thinking this might be a good dip to take to our family reunion this summer.
