Hawaiian Pineapple Dessert Cake Recipe

This is a really moist and delicious dessert cake. I like to serve it at parties or family get togethers, especially during the summertime season. Everyone really likes it!

Hawaiian Pineapple Dessert Cake

1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup cold milk
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapples, drained
1 large package whipped topping
1 teaspoon coconut, flaked

*optional* if desired you can place some cherries on top of the cake. If you don't have crushed pineapples you can use pineapple rings.

Bake cake according to the package directions in a 13 x 9" baking pan. Let cake completely cool. In a large bowl, combine the milk, pudding mix and cream cheese together to make a pudding mixture. Spread pudding mixture over the top of the cake. Next you will spread the crushed pineapples on top of the pudding mixture and then follow up by spreading the whipped topping over the pineapples. Lastly, sprinkle the flaked coconut over the top.
