Russian Tea Balls Recipe

I enjoy making this recipe and serving it when I have little tea parties for my friends and family. The recipe is very easy to make and only takes 6 ingredients that you most likely already have on hand. I also like to make them when I need things for my church's annual bake sale.

Russian Tea Balls Recipe

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts
confectioner's powdered sugar

In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Stir in the flour, vanilla extract and chopped nuts until everything is combined. Roll dough into little balls using your clean hands. Place balls on a baking sheet that is lined with the Tupperware Silicone Wonder Nonstick Baking Sheet and bake in a 300 degree oven for 40 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while hot. Let balls cool and roll in powdered sugar again. Store balls in an airtight container. Makes about 28-30 balls.
