Easy Cheesy Tuna Noodle Casserole Recipe

This recipe was given to me a few years ago by my daughter, right after she moved out on her own. It only takes 5 ingredients and is easy to make. It is a great little recipe for the quick weeknight dinners or for those college kids who don't like to cook or know how to cook! She also told me that she has made it with cream of chicken soup too...but prefers it the most when made with cream of mushroom soup. Here's the recipe.

Cheesy Tuna Noodle Casserole Recipe

1 bag bow-tie pasta noodles (cooked and drained)
1 small box frozen green peas, thawed
1 can flaked tuna, drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
(optional) bread crumbs or crushed saltine crackers for topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook and drain the bow-tie pasta according to the package directions. In a large 2 quart casserole dish or larger glass baking dish, combine all of the above ingredients together, except for the bread crumbs or crushed saltine crackers.

Bake in a 350 degree oven, uncovered for approximately 30 minutes. If desired, you can sprinkle some bread crumbs or crushed saltine crackers (as a topper) during the last 5 minutes of the baking time. I will also sprinkle on some additional cheese from time to time too. You can make it as cheesy as desired.
