Tupperware Stack Cooker Microwave Poached Salmon Recipe

I just love my Tupperware Tupperwave (tm) Stack Cooker! You can make a dinner, a side dish and a dessert all in the stack cooker in less than 45 minutes and make them all at the same time! This is a fantastic product if you lead a busy life and still want to come home at the end of the day and serve a hot homemade meal to your family in less than an hour.

The stack cooker comes with a nice recipe book. Here are 3 recipes of food dishes you can make in your Tupperware Stack Cooker.

Asian Green Beans Recipe

12 oz. fresh green beans
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame or vegetable oil

Toss together all ingredients in the inverted 3/4 qt. casserole cover. Cover with waxed paper. To stack cook, place in the top position for the last 10-15 minutes of cooking time or until the green beans are cooked to desired doneness. Remove from microwave and let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Poached Salmon Recipe

3 tablespoons chicken broth or white wine
2 teaspoons fresh ginger, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon peanut or vegetable oil (I use veggie oil)
1 lb. salmon fillet
1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional Topping: 1/2 cup green onions, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, 2 teaspoons soy sauce

Place broth or wine in bottom of 1 3/4 qt. casserole and place salmon in container. Combine ginger, salt and vegetable oil in a small bowl. Brush over salmon filet. To stack cook, microwave stack on high power for 10 minutes or until salmon reaches 145 degrees F temperature, if done...remove from stack and top with chopped green onions and sesame oil garnish and continue cooking for 10 additional minutes or until done.

Lite Apple Crisp Recipe

20 oz. can apple slices in water
1.5 oz. pkt. instant oatmeal, any flavor
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1/2 teaspoon Tupperware Simple Indulgence Cinnamon-Vanilla Seasoning Blend

Place apple slices in the bottom of the 3 qt. casserole. Sprinkle with oatmeal, brown sugar, butter and Cinnamon-Vanilla seasoning blend. To stack cook, place at bottom of stack and cook in the microwave on high power for 20-25 minutes.

I'm interested in the Apple Crisp recipe for the stack cooker and wondering if we drain the canned apples or leave them in the water? Thanks!

I leave the water in...as long as its not a slew of water in the can.

Heather, I don't know about using regular apples and not canned but you can use 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla as a replacement for the cinn vanilla blend.
