Kathy's Cranberry Cherry Pie Recipe

If you love cranberries and cherries, you have got to try my friend Kathy's Cranberry Cherry Pie recipe...it is so delish! It has the perfect blend of fruit and is not too tart nor too sweet. Not only that...its super easy to make and bake!

Kathy's Cranberry Cherry Pie Recipe

2 pre-made pie crusts
2 cups frozen cranberries
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
21 ounce can cherry pie filling

Prepare your pie crusts, placing the bottom crust in a 9" pie pan. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cranberries, granulated sugar and cornstarch together until well combined. Stir in the cherry pie filling. Spoon the fruit mixture into your pie crust. Top with the second pie crust and flute the edges. Cut several slits in the top crust. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until your crust is golden brown.

Tips: We like a very thick and flaky pie crust on our pies so we always make sure they are thick. It helps to cut down the sweetness of a cranberry & cherry pie. If making homemade dough...just roll them out thicker than you normally do.
