I love snacking on apples or eating apple desserts during the fall months every year. However, there are times that I am really busy and don't have 30-45 minutes to bake them. I solve that problem by making them in the microwave which is really easy to do! Here is how I make them.
Brown Sugared Microwave Baked Apples
1 large Apple
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp. Butter, softened
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions: You will want to wash your apple and then core it to remove the seeds and core. Place 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and butter down into the hole and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Place apple in a microwave safe dish or plate and microwave on high power for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until it is soft. Let it slightly cool and enjoy.
