4th of July Cocktails and Recipes from Iconic Americana Spiced Rum

Today I am sharing a few recipes with all of you given to me by the PR company that
represents Sailor Jerry. These all look delicious and are perfect for a backyard barbecue this summer.

For lighter summertime fare, the Backyard Tea – made with lemonade and iced tea – strips the innocence and adds a bite to the classic barbeque beverages. Easy to make and great for group, it can batched and served as a punch so guests can serve themselves -- and you can focus on manning delicious burgers and steaks searing on the grill.
Back Yard Tea Recipe

2 parts Sailor Jerry
1 part iced tea
2 parts lemonade
Glass: highball

Method: Add ingredients to in ice-filled glass and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Made with a spicy combination of ginger beer, pilsner, Tabasco and our beloved Sailor Jerry, the ingredients aptly explain its name – The Hellfire. Not for the faint of heart, this cocktail - a place where sweet, spicy, and salty come together harmoniously – can also provide a much needed “hair of the dog” the morning following a successful summer celebration.

4 to 5 quartered oranges, 3 lemons and 2 limes

Reduce at a rapid boil by about 75% or until slightly thickened, strain and let cool

Pick your favorite brand of BBQ sauce. In a new pot bring desired amount of BBQ sauce to a slow warm adding the Sailor Jerry Rum mixture a little at a time.
