Product Review: Barbara's Bakery All-Natural Snackimals Animal Cookies

Today I would like to introduce you to the company called Barbara's Bakery that makes all-natural cereals, animal cookies, crunchy granola bars, multi-grain cereal bars, fruit and yogurt bars, fig bars, crackers and cheese puffs. This wonderful company started it's business back in 1971 when Barbara opened up a small all-natural bakery in northern California. Babara's Bakery is committed to creating and selling the best-tasting natural products that are free of artificial preservatives & ingredients, hydrogenated oils and refined white sugar. If you are looking for healthy all-natural breakfast cereals and snack foods...you have got to check out the products by Barbara's Bakery.

My Review: Barbara's Bakery sent me a few packages of their Snackimals animal cookies for my product review. I have a 2 year old grand daughter and I want to teach her to eat foods that are healthy for her...like all-natural and/or organic foods...so I was really excited to receive the Snackimals Double Chocolate and the Snackimals Peanut Butter animal shaped cookies for this review. These animal cookies are made with organic grains and come in repeatable storage bags with zipper style closures.

I see my little grand daughter almost daily and when she is here she is always getting snacks and juice from me so a few days ago I gave her some of the double chocolate animal cookies along with some milk for her afternoon snack. I love that these cookies are the perfect little size for little toddler hands to hold. Within 10 minutes she had all of the cookies gone that I had put in her little dish. Matter of fact she asked Nanny for more! I also tasted them that day and I was pleasantly surprised at how crunchy and tasty they were. They are the perfect little afternoon snack for both children and adults.

The very next day I decided to give the wee one a little bowl full of the peanut butter animal cookies with her milk and I also decided to have some cookies & milk with her. These little cookies pack a powerful peanut butter taste which we both just love!!! You can tell that these cookies are made with REAL peanut butter and not some artificial junk. They are really really really good!!!

Wow...I am not sure which flavor we like more so I will just say that we like both flavors equally well and that the all-natural animal cookies didn't last long in this house! They are crunchy, they are flavorful and they are the perfect little size for toddler hands and us adults can enjoy them too! We give them a BIG two thumbs up!!!

The Snackimals animal cookies are available in: Double Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip, Vanilla, Wheat-Free Oatmeal and Snickerdoodle flavors. I know next time we try them we definitely are going for the snickerdoodles!

We would like to invite you to check out Barbara's Bakery for your all-natural breakfast cereal and snack products. We highly recommend them! We would like to thank Barbara's Bakery for sponsoring this product review here on the Shakin 'N Bakin Foodie Blog.
