Today I would like to introduce you to the direct sales company called "Do You Bake?" based out of my home state of Pennsylvania but you can find independent consultants for the company all over the United States. This wonderful company has a home-based business plan where women and men can join the company and sell the products at home shows & catalog shows to make additional income. If you are looking to make money from home by selling consumable gourmet food products then you need to check out "Do You Bake?".
When you shop for delicious gourmet foodie products from this company you will find dip mixes, bread mixes, hot & cold beverage mixes, dessert mixes, rice & pasta mixes, snack mixes, cookie mixes, spices & seasonings and a whole lot more! I love how their gourmet products are packaged and you can find recipes & serving ideas right on their web site.
My Review: I was sent several products to try out for all of you here on my SNB foodie blog so I will give you information about each product we tried. First up is the Italiano Beer Bread Mix which came packaged in an adorable holiday gift box. This beer bread mix will make a full-size loaf of bread. To make this bread you will need 12 oz. of beer (or carbonated beverage) along with 2 Tbsp. of melted butter to make the bread. I decided to make this bread on a cold & rainy afternoon a few days ago and was pleasantly surprised at how "little" effort it took! It only took me about 5 minutes to mix everything up and pour it into my loaf pan. I then baked it in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
The next product we received was a 12 oz. bottle of the Cracked Pepper & Parmesan Oil Seasoning that sells for $14.95. For this...all of the seasonings are packaged into the bottle. You simply add 2 Tbsp. of hot water to the bottle & let it sit for 5 minutes. You then pour your olive oil into the bottle and shake it up. Presto...you have a fresh seasoning oil ready to go! We used this seasoning oil as a bread dipping oil with the Italiano Beer Bread that we baked (see above) and both were absolutely delicious! I served them alongside our Lasagna for dinner one evening & the family loved them!
The next product we received was a 5 oz. shaker bottle of their Garlic Bread Seasoning Blend. You simply spread some melted butter on your bread and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of the seasoning blend on top & bake/broil your bread until it gets a little golden on top. We sliced up some French bread and used the seasoning blend on that and it was delicious! The blend has a nice garlic taste to it but not over-powering.
The next product we received was a package of their Garlic Asiago Dip Mix and you simply stir the dip mix into 2 cups of sour cream and chill the mixture in your refrigerator for a few hours to allow the flavor to infuse and then serve it. We served this dip mix with some artisan crackers to some guests who were visiting us as an appetizer before dinner. I loved the Asiago cheese flavor of this dip mix along with the "hint" of garlic. It was very good!
The final product we received was a package of their gourmet soft caramels and there were 5 flavored caramels in this package. Oh my gosh...these caramels were delicious and super soft & chewy! Not hard like store bought caramels at all...these melt in your mouth! I loved the sweet caramel flavor and my hubby loved the licorice caramel flavor. Did I say these were delicious yet? oh my....they are super yummy!
Overall Impression: My family loved every item that we tried from Do You Bake? and I loved how easy everything was to prepare and I only need to add a few ingredients to the items to make delicious treats for my family. Everything tasted fantastic! I love this company and I look forward to trying out more products. I highly recommend this company & their products to you!
I would like to thank Do You Bake? for participating in a product review here on the Shakin 'N Bakin Foodie Blog and for sponsoring a giveaway for my readers. We appreciate your generosity and we love your products!

Warm spinach dip:
Combine 1 cup sour cream with ½ cup mayonnaise, Stir in 4 ounces cream cheese and ½ cup parmesan cheese. Add 1 package of Garlic & Onion Spice It Up Mix and 8 ounces of defrosted and drained frozen spinach and mix together. Place in baking dish that is also a serving dish. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Stir. Bake an additional 5-10 minutes and serve. Top with diced tomatoes and a small sprinkle of parmesan cheese (optional). Best if kept warm while serving. For variations, add ½ cup chopped artichokes (drained and rinsed) or 4 or 5 sundried tomatoes diced. This one is also amazing using our Chive Spice It Up mix
