Total Edge Non-Stick 2-Qt. Saucepan by T-fal | Cookware Review

Today I am reviewing a piece of cookware for all of you from the wonderful company known as T-fal which has been around for many years! If you are not familiar with T-fal, they sell a wonderful line of cookware, bake ware and even small appliances like deep fryers. Professional Chefs and home cooks from around the world love the T-fal brand...including myself!

When I was first married (almost 28 years ago) I received several pieces of T-fal as a bridal shower gift. Since that time, I have been in love with the T-fal brand and was super excited to receive the Total Edge Non-Stick 2-Qt. Saucepan to review for all of you.

Total Edge Key Benefits: The Techno-resist base provides quick and even heating with no cold spots. The Thermospot technology tells when the pan is perfectly heated and guarantees perfect cooking results. (located inside the bottom of the pan). The handles on the pan feature the new Comfort-Touch riveted handles and trust me...the pans are indeed comfortable to hold!

Total Edge Key Features: The cookware features black non-stick exteriors which makes them super easy to clean. The pans feature Pro-Metal Pro non-stick interiors which prevents sticking and makes them easy to clean up. The lids to the cookware pieces are made from tempered glass and feature loop handles so they are really easy to life & hold while stirring and cooking your foods. The lids also have a tiny vent hole in the glass so that steam can escape and to help prevent your foods from bubbling over.

My first test with my new T-fal sauce pan was boiling some pasta noodles for my grand-wee-one for lunch one day. She loves pasta smothered in a low-fat butter sauce so I made that for her.

I love that my water was boiling in record split time and I had absolutely no cold spots during the cooking process. After I drained out the water and added in my butter sauce I simmered the pasta for an additional 5 minutes. Usually during this phase I have to stand there stirring almost constantly to prevent sticking but not this time! Not a single noodle stuck to the bottom or sides of this pan! Amazing! I also love the clear glass lid because I can see inside the pan without opening it.

Over the past week I have made several things in my new T-fal saucepan including several pasta dishes, vegetables, homemade old-fashioned pudding and several soups. I love that nothing is sticking to my pan, I am getting nice even heating, the handles are some of the best I have ever seen on cookware and the saucepan cleans up lickety split!

In my personal opinion...this is DREAM COOKWARE and I can't wait to add several more of their pieces to my cookware collection. It is absolutely fantastic!
