Honeyville Foods :: Blueberry Pancake and Waffle Mix :: Foodie Review

Today I would like to introduce you to the foodie company called Honeyville Foods who makes and sells a wide variety of food storage and bakery supplies. The company has been in business since 1951 and specializes in producing freeze dried and dehydrated fruits and vegetables.

When you shop at Honeyville Foods you will find wheat flours, food storage products, various types of grains, freeze dried fruits, freeze dried vegetables, corn flours, whole grain and rolled oats, pancake mixes, muffin mixes, brownie mixes, gourmet hot cocoa and chocolate, real fruit smoothie mixes and so much more!

My Review: The great folks over at Honeyville Foods sent me their Blueberry Pancake and Waffle Mix to review for all of you. If you love buttermilk pancakes you have got to try this pancake mix! Unlike store bought mixes, this mix is shelf stable (unopened) for 1-3 years.

This is a complete pancake and waffle mix and all you need to add is water! We decided to make up a batch of 4" diameter pancakes for breakfast early Saturday morning so we used their blueberry pancake mix. You simply measure out 1 cup of mix and add 3/4 cup of water to it. Mix it up well and then preheat your griddle until it reaches 375 degrees F. Pour a 1/4 cup of pancake batter onto your hot griddle and let it cook until bubbles form around the edges. Then flip them over to finish cooking.

Once our pancakes were done, I topped mine with just butter and hubby topped his with butter and maple syrup. We sat down to have our breakfast and were both pleasantly surprised at how delicious our blueberry pancakes were! They were moist, fluffy, hat a lot of imitation blueberries in them that had a wonderful blueberry taste to them. They were absolutely delicious!

We gobbled them up in rapid fashion and our bellies were full for hours. They make such a delicious and hearty breakfast that your entire family would enjoy. We loved them so much that we made another batch on Sunday morning and gobbled them up too!

If you are looking for a delicious blueberry pancake mix, this is one that you need to try! It has a great bluberry taste and guess what? Super affordable at only $3.99 per 28 oz. sized box! You will be able to make a lot of pancakes from just this one box! If you are not a fan of blueberry pancakes, they also sell a plain buttermilk pancake mix too!

We would like to thank Honeyville Farms for sending us the wonderful Blueberry Pancake and Waffle Mix to try out for all of you. We give it a huge two thumbs up!
