In my home we do a lot of entertaining, especially on the weekends, so I am always looking for new things to serve my guests. The great folks over at Tostitos sent us a package of Tostitos containing 2 of their new limited-edition flavors: Lime & Salt and TexMex. You can find these 2 limited-edition flavors exclusively at Target, nationwide until mid July.

The Lime & Salt Thins by Tostitos tastes great with your favorite drinks, with or without alcohol. These Tostitos are a little thinner than your traditional style Tostitos chips. They are a tortilla chip that has been lightly seasoned with lime and salt. Great served alongside your favorite salsa or guacamole dip.

The Tex-Mex Thins by Tostitos tastes great with your favorite drinks, with or without alcohol. These Tostitos are a little thinner than your traditional style Tostitos chips. They are a cantina style tortilla chip that has been lightly seasoned with some of your traditional Tex-Mex seasonings. (they are not hot and spicy but do have a little kick to them).

I decided to serve both of them to my guests along with guacamole and peach salsa that I whipped up froms cratch. We also had beer, iced tea and soft drinks for our beverages. As the gang sat down to watch hubby's new movie on the big screen, they all munched on the Tostitos and dips. Out of all the girls here, we seemed to prefer the Lime & Salt but yet the guys, they all loved the Tex-Mex. Typical if you ask me! Personally, I hope they make the Lime & Salt as part of their year-round line-up and just not for a limited-time!
