Omega’s Spicy Mango Salsa Recipe

I love homemade salsas as they are always much healthier for you compared to a store bought salsa. This is a delicious salsa recipe that you can make at home. Perfect for family snack night or for when you are entertaining others. The recipe will make 6 servings. Thanks Omega for sharing the recipe with all of my foodie blog readers!

Omega’s Spicy Mango Salsa Recipe

• 4 medium tomatoes, halved
• 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
• 1/2 cup roasted corn kernels
• 1 cup of fresh mango, pealed
• 1 garlic clove, crushed
• 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (more or less to taste)
• Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
• Serving suggestion: tortilla chips

Preparation: Put the tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, olive oil, orange juice, and red pepper flakes in the Omega Nutrition Center Juicer or Food Processor. If using the juicer, use the mincing/chopping function on the machine. Pulse until the ingredients are combined but still chunky. Add the corn and season with salt and pepper, to taste. Transfer to a small bowl and serve with tortilla chips.

Disclosure: This recipe was given to me by a PR firm who asked me to share the recipe with my readers here on the Shakin & Bakin Foodie Blog.
