Today I would like to tell you all about the Santa Cruz Organic Sweet Deeds Society where you can learn more about the Celebrate Good Deeds to Help Donate 160,000 Meals to Feeding America program.

This is a program where Santa Cruz Organic® will help celebrate and recognize those who do good deeds for others, especially those who are less fortunate. I would like to encourage you to join Facebook and "like" the Santa Cruz Organic® Facebook Page. Once you have done that, click on the tab for the "Sweet Deed Society".

You will find all kinds of great information there on how you can nominate a friend, family member or co-worker who has done a sweet deed for someone else. For each daily sweet deed nomination submitted, Santa Cruz Organic will donate five dollars to Feeding America®, up to $20,000 – that will help provide 160,000 meals* for families struggling with hunger across the country.

Now that is something we can all participate in! I don't know about all of you, but I know several people that I could nominate for the Sweet Deed Society and I am sure you do too!

Those who participate will be entered into a grand prize drawing for a chance to win one of two beach vacations, along with chances to win various weekly prizes. Doesn't that sound like a lot of fun? I think so and while you are having fun nominating those who do good deeds, you are helping to support a good cause!

Santa Cruz Organic® has partnered with Feed the Children which is our country's leading hunger-relief charity. We all know that Feed the Children does great work and we can all help to support their hard work by doing our part...even a small part by participating in the Santa Cruz Organic® Sweet Deed Society.

Here is a fact that you need to know: $1.00 donated provides the equivalent of 8 meals secured by Feeding America® on behalf of local food banks.
