Tupperware Jel-Ring Mold - 3 Great Dessert Recipes

I love my Tupperware Jel-Ring Mold and I use it all of the time to make cool and refreshing gelatin desserts for my family. I thought I would make another post with some of my favorite dessert recipes that you can whip up quickly and put them into your Tupperware Jel-Ring Mold or any other type of mold you have that is similar to that.

Bavarian Cream Dessert Mold Recipe

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin mix
2 tablespoons cold water
1 1/3 cups milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix together the gelatin mix with the cold water and let it set for 4 to 5 minutes. In a large saucepan over low heat, warm up the milk. Stir in the granulated sugar, salt and the gelatin/water mixture. Continue to heat this until the sugar has been dissolved but being careful to not boil it. (it should be hot but not boiling). In a small bowl beat the egg yolks lightly and add 2 tablespoons of the hot milk mixture to it. Pour mixture into the hot milk that is still in the saucepan. Simmer mixture over low to medium heat, stirring often until it thickens. Remove from heat and pour mixture into a bowl. Let cool for 5 minutes at room temperature and then chill in the refrigerator until it is almost set. Remove from the refrigerator. Mix together the stiffened egg whites, heavy whipping cream and vanilla extract. Fold this mixture into the semi-set chilled mixture. Spoon all of it into your Jel-Ring Mold. Seal. Place into the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours to allow it to firmly set up.

Strawberry Bavarian Cream Dessert Mold Recipe

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin mix
2 tablespoons cold water
1 1/2 cups crushed strawberries
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

In a small measuring cup soak the gelatin mix in the 2 tablespoons cold water and let sit for 5 minutes to dissolve. If it isn't dissolved after 5 minutes you can heat it up slightly in your microwave and then pour it into a large bowl. Stir in the crushed fresh strawberries, lemon juice, granulated sugar and salt until well blended. Place bowl into the refrigerator until mixture is almost set. Remove. Whip the heavy cream and then fold it into the gelatin mixture. Pour entire mixture into a Jel-Ring Mold. Seal and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours. Right before serving time you can serve some whipped cream and freshly sliced strawberries on top if desired.

Chocolate Marshmallow Cream Dessert Mold Recipe

1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin mix
1/4 cup milk
2 cups milk
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1/4 lb. bag marshmallows, quartered
1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1 cup heavy cream, whipped

In a small measuring cup dissolve the unflavored gelatin mix in the 1/4 cup milk; set aside. In a large saucepan combine together the 2 cups milk, granulated sugar and 1 square of unsweetened chocolate. Simmer until chocolate has melted and sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and beat with an electric mixer for 90 seconds. Stir in the gelatin mixture until well combined. Cover bowl and place into the refrigerator until almost set (less than an hour). Remove from refrigerator and stir in the quartered marshmallows and chopped walnuts. Fold in the stiffly beaten egg whites and heavy whipped cream. Pour mixture into the Jel-Ring Mold; seal. Refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours before serving.
