AstroBrights Papers - Perfect for Homemade Recipe Books and Recipe Cards

This is a partnered post written by me on behalf of Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper. All opinions are 100% mine.

A few days ago I was cleaning out my stash of clipped and printed recipes from a big box that I have been tossing them into. Wow, what a big old disorganized mess that is! I decided that I was going to clean up that mess and make some homemade recipe books to hold all of my favorite recipes.

I think I might use the AstroBrights papers which come in 23 fun and bright colors! I think it will be fun to print out and copy off my favorite recipes onto brightly colored paper. I am going to pick a different color for each recipe group. (example: blue for dinner, pink for snacks, red for desserts, orange for beverages, green for vegetables and so forth).

This way all of my recipes can be colored coded for ease of use and with all these fun and bright colors, I highly doubt they will get lost! If this project turns out well, perhaps I will make a few homemade recipe books to give to family as upcoming holiday gifts.

I wanted to let you all know about this great "Make Something Astrobright" design challege that is currently going on! It is a family-friendly design challenge and AstroBrights is encouraging fans and readers to use their fun & brightly colored papers in a paper crafting project. It can be anything you want! Once you create something they encourage you to share your creation on various social media outlets and to hashtag your share #GoAstroBrights so that they can easily find your creation & post!

They are also sponsoring the "Give a Better Year" Sweepstakes where you can support your local elementary school. You can win prizes and the school of your choice can win $30,000 worth of much needed school supplies. We all know that all schools across America are hurting right now and this is a way that we can all help. Please check out their site for more details on this important sweepstakes and enter today!

I love crafting and I love to cook...I am really excited about trying out some of the AstroBrights papers in my recipe cards and homemade recipe books crafting project. In addition, I have a lot of recipes stored online on various sites in their virtual recipe boxes and now I can get those printed out onto the brightly colored paper and filed away properly in my recipe books.

If you had a few packs of AstroBrights papers sitting in front of you right now, how would you use them? I would love to hear your thoughts & ideas!
