Investing in a Frozen Yogurt Business

My husband is turning 51 years old this fall and I just turned 45. We have been doing a lot of talking with one another about starting our own frozen yogurt business. In 4 years he will probably take early retirement from the company he currently works for so we will need to replace that income.

We were doing some research online today and were looking to see how much a frozen yogurt machine would cost. We browsed several online sites and one company had the machines at a really reasonable price. Definitely at a price point we could afford and I am thinking we would need two machines to start.

The one company we found and were really interested in is called Donper America who is headquartered in Orlando Florida. This company has been in business for a long time and specializes in commercial refrigeration products. A company that has a great reputation means something to me and this company has that.

In addition to the frozen yogurt machines that I would need, the company also sells high quality juice dispensers, granita machines, batch freezers and ice cream machines. They are all very affordably priced for those who are looking for those particular commercial products.

My husband has some really good business relationships in our community and I am thinking that we could get some nice cafe tables, chairs, countertops and other necessary business supplies at a great price. Perhaps we can even barter for some of the things we would need since a lot of these business companies rely heavily on my hubby for current work.

Anyway, today I just wanted to share some of my thoughts with all of my foodie blog readers. Right now we are just thinking about opening a frozen yogurt business but we are also considering a few other options too.
