Homemade Cinnamon Bread Pudding Recipe

Love homemade bread pudding but looking for a bread pudding recipe that is super simple to make and has a nice light cinnamon flavor to it? If so, this bread pudding recipe is definitely for you! My great aunt has been making it for years!

Homemade Cinnamon Bread Pudding Recipe

2 loaves of frozen bread, thawed
1 stick butter, melted
1 cup light brown sugar
1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Tear one loaf of thawed bread into small pieces and place into the bottom of a lightly greased cake pan. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, light brown sugar, instant vannilla pudding mix, milk and ground cinnamon. Pour the wet mixture over top of the torn bread pieces in your cake pan. Rip up the second loaf of bread into small pieces and place those pieces on top of the others in the cake pan. These will serve as your top layer. Cover cake pan for 20-25 minutes.

Place cake pan in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 20-25 minutes or until done. It will be a little mushy...after all, it's bread pudding! You can serve it warm or cold and some people like a little granulated sugar sprinkled on top and then served in a bowl of milk. The choice is totally yours on how you like to serve it.
