How to SAVE Big on a San Antonio Vacation Experience

This is a partnered post written by me on behalf of SAVE. All opinions are 100% mine.

My husband will be turning 51 years old come October and I want to plan a big trip to celebrate his Birthday. One of the places we are considering going to is to San Antonio Texas. I heard that it's a beautiful area to visit with a lot of things to see and do! Plus, I heard the food is absolutely delicious with both traditional and regional dishes!

I was doing some research online on the San Antonio area and came across the SAVE – San Antonio Vacation Experience where bargain travelers like myself can find some really nice travel deals! By looking over their site, I could easily save around $600 by participating in the deals that they have to offer. In addition, they have some really unbeatable Limited Time Offers that you all need to check out! Wow, those deals are impressive for sure!

The deals and coupons that I was particularly looking at were on popular theme parks, animal adventure parks, water parks, restaurants, historic tours of some really popular places, hotel deals and so much more! All of these savings are on the type of places we would like to visit.

The SAVE partners that are participating in the program range from budget friendly companies to luxury companies. You can plan a couples vacation, a girlfriends getaway, a family reunion or a family vacation with the kids, definitely something for everyone!

As I was snooping around on their web site I saw great deals on downtown lodging, suburb lodging or if you want to stay right near a theme park or attraction, you will find lodging deals for that too. Personally, I like staying in the center of it all!

The savings and deals that most interested me while I was browsing the site were the deals for Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, SplashTown Waterpark, San Antonio Botanical Garden and the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. All of them are on our "bucket list" of things we would like to see and do!

When my husband and I travel, we tend to go for the high-end luxury accomodations as we like to feel spoiled at wherever we are staying. One place we would love to stay at is the luxurious Hilton Palacio del Rio. I was looking at their photos & list of ammenities and was super impressed with what I saw on their site.

For our travel itinerary, I think we would like to go to Sea World (Buy a family 4-pack & get the second day free), Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch ($2.00 off admission), Splashtown (free movies on Friday night while playing in the pool), San Antonio Botanical Gardens ($1.00 off admission) and the San Antonio Zoo ($2.00 OFF per person savings). I really think we could squeeze all of those activities into a 5 day and 4 night vacation if we managed our time well. What do you think?

Have any of you ever thought about visiting San Antonio? If so, what kind of things would you like to see and do while visiting there?

I would like to invite you to follow @SAVEinSA over on Twitter. I have been following them for a few days and they tweet out deals and bargains for the San Antonio area. They are also very knowledgeable on all things San Antonio so if you have any questions, please feel free to Tweet at them if you are a Twitter user.

Anyway, that is what I am thinking about today as I try to plan a birthday trip for my husband come late October. I would love to hear all of your thoughts! Any of you got any good suggestions for places we should check out if we go to San Antonio?
