I have a very close friend who happens to live in California who loves drinking wine. She is no wine expert, but she does know a lot about various different types of wine. Matter of fact, Chris is the person who has been teaching me all about wine so that I can become a better educated consumer.
Purchasing gifts for my friend Chris used to be a task that I dreaded until I found some great wine related gifts online. Her birthday is coming up in a few weeks and this year, I decided to really treat her to something special.
I am going to buy her this lovely Tuscan Wine Gift Basket that I found online which contains: a stainless steel colander, two bags of pasta, a jar of imported tomato sauce, a large bottle of Tuscan wine and a box of biscotti cookies. I think this gift basket assortment is just perfect for my friend Chris!
To go along with the gift basket, I am going to purchase her two baseball tickets so that she can head to her local ballpark and catch a baseball game. (she loves baseball too!).
You know, if I am really lucky, perhaps Chris will invite me over to dinner when she cooks up the pasta and serves up that wine, that way I will be able to enjoy her birthday present too! What do you think? hahaha! At least that is my game plan!
