Root Beer of the Month Club from The Root Beer Store

Root Beer is one of those beverages that I don't drink every day...but a few times every month I get a good all craving for root beer that I need to quench. A lot of times I will drink root beer poured into a glass full of ice, straight from the bottle or I will fix myself and family members a few delicious root beer floats.

Today I would like to tell you about The Root Beer Store and their fabulous Root Beer of the Month Club. The club is a monthly subscription service where you can sign-up to receive a 6-pack or 12-pack of root beer shipped to your home or office every month. Each month the brand of root beer changes which is a nice way to give you the opportunity to sample different brands.

With this particular root beer of the month club...there are no additional fees, no contract (you can cancel at any time with no penalties) and you can start & stop whenever you like. Isn't that cool? I think so! In addition, you don't have to drive all over the place to purchase your root beer and you have no bottles to lug back home. Gotta love that!

The Root Beer Store sent me a complimentary 6-pack of root beer to try out for all of you. The brand that we received is Druther's Black Cow Root Beer and it comes in amber colored glass bottles. I personally love their brand labels which features an adorable black & white cow on them! Too cute!
With the root beer we received for our review...we decided to make up a batch of homemade root beer floats using natural vanilla bean ice cream, the Druther's Black Cow Root Beer and some whipped cream. They also included some classic root beer float straws for us to use too! When making your own floats...I do recommend that you chill your root beer first...you don't want that vanilla ice cream melting too fast. Once our floats were ready...the entire family dug in for a special summertime treat!

The root beer was absolutely DELICIOUS and had a nice smooth taste to it. I would describe it as being a "mild" root beer that wasn't overly strong or bitter at all. We demolished those 6 bottles and 1/2 gallon of ice cream in rapid fashion and within one hour...they were all gone! Everyone just loved this root beer and too bad we didn't have more on hand because we all would of had seconds! Delish!

You can find The Root Beer Store online and purchase your favorite brand of root beer...they have hundreds of different brands in-stock, along with other products...or you can sign up for the root beer of the month club which makes a great gift for someone you love or for yourself! Yay!!!
