From National Martini Day to Summer Solstice or Midsummer, there’s plenty to celebrate. For the latter, in Sweden, the special day (June 21) is marked by 24 hours of sunlight as well as what, by all accounts, is the party of the year.

Whether or not you plan to celebrate like a Swede –-complete with Smörgåsbords, songs, and dance-- we hope you’ll join us in a toast to summer with a Purity Frisk, a refreshing cocktail made with Purity® Vodka.

Purity Frisk Cocktail Recipe

2 oz Purity® Vodka
1/8 oz Wash of aquavit
3 Slices of cucumber
1 Small sprig of dill

Add the aquavit to a cocktail shaker glass and roll around. Shake out any excess. Drop in the cucumber slices and press with a muddler to release the juices. Measure in the vodka and fill with ice. Cap and shake vigorously. Double strain into a martini glass and garnish with a small sprig of dill.
