Liquid Vitamins & Health Supplements

For the past three years I have really been trying to improve my health and one of the issues I have been having lately is that large vitamins and pills are making me tummy sick. Not only that, a lot of vitamins and supplements come in "horse" sized pills that I absolutely can not swallow thanks to my TMJ and Trigeminal Neuralgia problem.

I did a search over the weekend and found a really cool site called Next Step Nutrition where they sell liquid vitamins and health supplements! That's right...they are all liquid and made for people like me who have issues when it comes to chewing and swallowing. Not only that, these liquid formulations are great for bariatric patients too!

My doctor was telling me just last week that liquid supplements are gentler on the tummy, easier to swallow and many of them absorb super quickly. I had never thought about looking for liquid alternatives as I had always thought of them as products for kids. Sigh...I am much better informed now!

I think the first thing that I would love to try is a liquid complete multivitamin because I haven't been eating correctly since my surgery back in April. I am slowly getting better but I definitely need to start taking a daily multivitamin and a liquid formulation would make my life a whole lot easier!

How many of you take liquid health supplements and for those of you who do...do you find them easier to take? Are they more gentle on your stomach? What kind of supplements are you and your family taking? I would love to hear about it!
