Gorton's Authentic Fish Tacos Recipe

A few months ago I did a foodie review here on the Shakin N Bakin Foodie Blog featuring some of the delicious products that Gorton's has to offer. During that review I made the Gorton's Authentic Fish Tacos Recipe and since that time I have received several emails asking me to publish the recipe. Well today...is the day! You can find their recipe below.

Gorton's Authentic Fish Tacos Recipe

1 (17.2 oz) pkg. Gorton's Signature Grilled Tilapia
10 flour tortillas, warmed
1 cup shredded cabbage or iceberg lettuce (we used lettuce)
2 cups salsa (we used peach mango salsa)
* we also added sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese and chopped tomatoes to ours

Prepare Gorton's Signature Grilled Tilapia according to the package directions. In our case...we used the microwave and then used the microwave again to warm up our flour tortillas. We then assembled our fish tacos by just layering in the grilled Tilapia, shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, chopped tomatoes and shredded cheese. Just like a regular beef taco. Now...as you can see, we altered Gorton's recipe to our own liking but you can visit the Gorton's web site and get their original recipe there.

In addition...we had them again a few days later and that time around hubby also threw in some sliced black olives and finely chopped green pepper which he loved them that way too. Just pile on your favorite taco toppings & fillings and you are good to go! Enjoy!
