Valentine's Day is a week away and I have been really thinking about what I would like to get for my daughter and husband this year for Valentine's Day in regards to candy. After thinking about this for a few days, I decided that 1980's candy would be the perfect choice!

Why you might ask? Well, my husband and I were both in our early 20's during the 1980's and consider ourselves to be from the 80's generation. In addition, we had our first child in the mid-80's and she grew up enjoying those same candies that we did.

There is an online store called Old Time Candy where you can find hundreds of different types of candies and you can shop by the decade. I was easily able to find the 1980's section and wowza, they have a super large selection of goodies to choose from.

My husband has always enjoyed those classic Gummi Sour Bears and I found those on their site! You can buy them by the individual bag, by the 2-lb. box, 5-lb. box or get the mother-load 30-lb. box so that you don't run out any time soon!

Our daughter was a HUGE fan of the Airheads and they got several different flavors of Airheads in-stock and ready-to-ship. They have blue raspberry, green apple, cherry, pink lemonade, white mystery and watermelon or you can go for a variety box. I am thinking about the variety box for our family that way we all can enjoy our favorite flavors.
