Tequila Herradura St Patrick's Day Cocktail Recipes

Hubby and I love to celebrate St. Paddy's Day every year with a little party here in our home or by going out to visit a local Irish Pub. This year, we will be going out and having a great time! For those of you who are staying home, how about whipping up some great St. Patrick's Day cocktails to enjoy at home?

The following cocktail recipes are courtesy of Tequila Herradura.

St. Patrick’s Day is only a couple of days away, and even though beer might be your first option, what about getting out of your comfort zone with some tequila?

Herradura Green Agave Cocktail Recipe

· 1 ½ oz. Herradura Silver
· 1 oz. melon liqueur
· Squeezed fresh lime juice

Shake tequila, melon liqueur and lime juice with ice for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a Shamrock carved lime. Its bright green color, sweet flavor and Shamrock carved lime is sure to bring everyone good luck.Shake and pour into martini glass.
Paddy’s Herbal Mojito Cocktail Recipe

· 2 oz. Herradura Silver
· ¾ oz. lime juice
· ¾ oz. simple syrup
· 6 basil leaves
· 2 inches of cucumber diced
· Splash of soda

Place basil and cucumber into the base of a tall glass and muddle to extract flavors, fill ¾ of the glass with crushed ice, add remaining ingredients and combine using a bar spoon. Cap with more crushed ice and garnish with a basil leaf.
