Easy Blueberry Cobbler Dessert Recipe

Last week our local grocery store had a big sale on frozen blueberries so I stocked up on them. We love homemade blueberry cobbler and crisp, blueberry muffins, cake, smoothies, homemade ice cream, etc. We love blueberries!

In an old cookbook that my grandmother had I found a recipe for Blueberry Cobbler and decided to make it. Once it was done, we served it warm over some freshly made vanilla bean ice cream. It was delicious!

Easy Blueberry Cobbler Recipe

5 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 large eggs, beaten lightly
1/3 cup butter, melted
3 tbsp. milk
Place the thawed blueberries into the bottom of a 9" by 13" glass baking dish. In a large mixing bowl sift together the all purpose flour, granulated sugar and baking powder. Mix in the 2 large eggs until all ingredients are well combined. Spread this mixture over the top of the blueberries. Melt the butter in the microwave for 15 seconds. Pour melted butter over the top.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place baking dish into the oven and bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes or until done. Remove and let cool. You can serve it warm or cool. Refrigerate any leftovers in a sealed container.
