Ole Smoky Apple Pie Hot Toddy Recipe

Mark your calendars, for there’s a reason to celebrate one of the most classic winter beverages – January 11 is National Hot Toddy Day! Spice up the original recipe and treat yourself to the Ole Smoky Apple Pie Moonshine Hot Toddy to keep you warmed up. The hot toddy is traditionally drunk before going to bed, or in wet or cold weather – the perfect fireside beverage.

Ole Smoky Apple Pie Hot Toddy Recipe

1-2 oz. Ole Smoky Apple Pie
1 Lemon Wedge
2 tsp. Honey
6-7 oz. Celestial gingerbread spice tea

Ole Smoky’s Apple Pie is made of the same delicious combination of flavors that you find at Grandma’s – pure apple juice, ground cinnamon and other spices – but we blend with our homemade moonshine to create an authentic Appalachian recipe. At 40 proof it is very drinkable and goes down as easy as well, pie! Cheers and pass the blanket, friend!

About: Moonshine is unaged corn whiskey. Ole Smoky uses an authentic East Tennessee recipe, and is jarred and shipped directly from the company’s famed Gatlinburg distillery The Holler™ (America’s most visited distillery) and new location, the Ole Smoky Barn at The Island in Pigeon Forge. Now available in all 50 states and Canada, Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine can be found at local retailers and is sampled and sold at some of the biggest music and sporting events in the country.

Disclaimer: You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol. Please drink responsibly. Recipe and photo is courtesy of Ole Smoky.

This sounds like a great cocktail, mixing some of my favorite favors of apple pie, honey and gingerbread spiced tea in one delicious toddy. I love it.
