Banana Blueberry Milkshake Recipe

We love to make homemade smoothies, milkshakes and ice creams here in our home and make them several times a week. When you make your own at home...you can control the ingredients and portions. However, you do need the right kitchen tools and appliances.

Recently we received the Tribest’s Dynablend® Horsepower Plus™ Blender to review and have been using it non-stop ever since! As a foodie, I have owned numerous blenders over the years but this one has quickly become my favorite one! It's the most powerful home blender with a solid glass pitcher and stainless steel scoop (that easily breaks down firm materials). In addition, it's completely BPA-Free! It's really easy to use, super simple to clean. You can buy this beautiful machine at Amazon.com or at TribestLife.com.

Over the next several weeks I will be featuring numerous recipes and photographs here on my blog utilizing the Tribest’s Dynablend® Horsepower Plus™ Blender so that all of you can see it in action!

* The following recipe will make 2 servings.

Banana Blueberry Milkshakes Recipe

1 large ripe banana
3/4 cup fresh or thawed/frozen blueberries
1 cup vanilla bean ice cream
1 cup ice cubes
1/4 cup whole milk

Place the banana, blueberries, ice cubes and milk into the Tribest’s Dynablend® Horsepower Plus™ Blender and blend until smooth. Add the vanilla bean ice cream and blend for 5-10 seconds, just until ingredients are mixed. Don't over-blend or it will get runny. Serve immediately.

Disclosure: Shelly H. received a complimentary Tribest’s Dynablend® Horsepower Plus™ Blender to use and feature here on the Shakin 'N Bakin Foodie Blog. No monetary compensation was received. Her thoughts, opinions and ideas about this product are 100% her own and were NOT influenced by the company.

Your smoothie looks yummy Shelly! I'm going to be reviewing the same blender soon. Can't wait to test out all it's features too. We love smoothies. I can't wait to see what your other recipes. Thanks for the review. Happy 4th of July btw!
