PARTNERS was founded in 1992 by President Marian Harris. From an early age, Marian was always interested in food. At the age of eight she wanted some cake, and when there was none to be found in the house, she baked one herself. The cake was so delicious that her mother asked Marian where she got the money to buy a cake. Disappointed in the quality and affordability of local casual restaurants in the early 70's, specifically during lunchtime, Marian decided to open her own, while taking on the baking and cooking duties herself. In no time, her first-of-its-kind bakery and deli was winning rave reviews and a large loyal following.

While running that restaurant, Marian couldn't find just the right crackers to provide the perfect accompaniment to her homemade soups and salads, so she developed her own recipe and started making crackers herself. In the fall of 1992, Marian sorted a batch of her crackers into eight different bags and in a single day visited eight local stores with those samples. She returned home to find orders waiting from seven of the stores, and PARTNERS, A Tasteful Choice Company, was born. Today, the company employs some 85 people in a 50,000 square foot eco-friendly facility outside of Seattle. PARTNERS offers six different tasteful choice brands and more than 35 varieties of crackers, cookies and granola, including organic and low-fat options. PARTNERS award-winning products are sold in all 50 states and around the world.

In today’s world, many of us are all about eating healthy foods. In today’s world, it can be very difficult to find foods that are appropriate for healthy living. Science changes all time…what we thought were healthier alternatives, ended up being even worse than what we originally ate. And to be honest, many health foods end up tasting like cardboard. So imagine my surprise when I ate my first Free for All Kitchen gluten- free cracker earlier this week…I ate half the bag in ONE sitting! These crackers are absolutely delicious!!
My favorite…Olive Oil and Herb. Pair with cheeses, dip them in spinach dip, or eat them alone…it doesn’t really matter how you eat them, because I guarantee to you that they will taste amazing. You can find Free for All Kitchen gluten-free crackers at Amazon, Costco, Giant or Wegmans. They can be a bit pricey (about $8.00/bag), but remember…they are gluten-free. With the holidays coming up, you should definitely buy a few bags and take them with you to holiday parties or just host your own. You’re friends and families are going to LOVE these crackers!
