Wholly Guacamole and Classic Queso

I grew up eating a lot of Hispanic food and to this day...it is the #1 cuisine here in my household. I have never tried any of the Wholly Guacamole products until recently so I am really excited to share information with you today about their line of gourmet food products. If you are not familiar with this company they make America's #1 Guacamole Dip. Wholly knows their avocados and they know their dips!

Avocados are very health for you so you should be incorporating them into your diet on a daily basis. Did you know that 8 baby carrots + 3 Tbsp. of guacamole = a fabulous 95 calorie snack that is less calories than a cup of 2% milk? I didn't know that but I do now! Furthermore, the avocado is a fruit, not a vegetable!

Guacamole is a great vegetable dip for freshly sliced veggies like celery and carrot sticks. We like to hollow out a tomato, stuff it with guacamole dip and then slice it down into snack size wedges. Yes...guacamole spread on a fresh tomato wedge is delicious!

The great folks over at Whole Guacamole sent me 4 delicious products to try out for all of you. My hubby had 4 of his male friends come over to our home this past Sunday to watch NFL football with him. I decided to make the guys some fresh soft-shelled tacos, stuffed tomatoes with guacamole dip and I served them taco chips with salsa, guacamole and Queso. I also made them a tray of my guacamole deviled eggs. Those guys tore it up in just one hour!!!

Info About The Products I Served :

* Wholly Classic Queso which features creamy cheddar cheese, finely chopped veggies and tasty spices! We used the Queso on the soft-shelled tacos that I served to the guys and they loved it! This is also delicious as a hamburger topping which is one of my hubby's favorite ways to use Queso!

* Wholly Classic Guacamole contains 20 vitamins & minerals and is all-natural so you can feel good about using this guacamole! The guys of course dunked their taco chips into the guacamole but they also used it in their tacos that they made. I used 2 tablespoons of the guacamole to make my guacamole deviled eggs...which didn't last long!

* Wholly 100 Calories Snack Packs of Spicy Guacamole is so versatile! You can pack these babies in your lunch or use them at home for anytime a snack attack occurs. My hubby has been taking these snack packs of guacamole to work to use in his lunches. He loves spreading it on his sandwiches instead of using mayo/butter. He also uses it as a chip and/or vegetable dip! You can freeze these guacamole snack packs and use them to help keep your lunches cool. By the time lunch rolls around...they are thawd (but still cold) and ready for you to enjoy!

* Wholly Pico de Gallo Guacamole is a chunkier style of their guacamole and is perfect for dunking taco chips, pretzels, potato chips and freshly cut vegetables in. It is pretty mild...I would say there is a tad more kick to it than the mild/classic version so it is perfect for just about everyone. My hubby made breakfast burritos and used this as a topping. He simply fried up some scrambled eggs (with finely chopped onions) and crumbled some fried bacon and then spread the guacamole over the flour tortilla and piled in his breakfast ingredients. He loved his creation and chowed it down quickly.

Overall Impression: We loved all 4 of these products! Matter of fact...all 4 of these products are now on my grocery list that is hanging on the front of my refrigerator! I can't wait to purchase some more of these products! Since I love to cook...I am going to get more products and try them out in some recipes. I want to try the classic guacamole in my chicken salad recipe and I bet they are going to taste fabulous!
